Despite the arctic landscape, we are less than a month away from the first day of spring. This means the crew at James Valley Garden Center is busy organizing greenhouses, receiving shipments of young new plants and getting ready to open our doors again on March 16th for the season!
To help get you in a summer frame of mind and jump start your patio pots, we are now taking orders for pre-planted planters. This is a great program for anyone who wants to show off full, established pots right way in May, maybe for graduation parties or Memorial Day gatherings. All pots will be professionally planted using your choice of colors and a mix of greenery suited for your area.
To get things growing, we will professionally plant your pots in March and keep them in our sunny greenhouses until the weather warms up. In May, you take home healthy and gorgeous planters! We can plant your plants into inserts that slip easily into your own pots, you can bring us your pots to fill OR you can purchase pots in our Garden Center. You will find our pre-plant form with more details by clicking on the form on the bottom of this page. Orders must be made by March 23, and all orders received by then will receive 15% off! Just call 996-8444 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also stop by after March 16 to place your order in person.
During our Opening Weekend, 16-17, we will also be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day as well as the upcoming “green” season with a Lucky Day Giveaway. We will be giving away all kinds of spring swag so be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page and be sure to “like” our page so you’ll be the first to know about our spring workshops, events, contests, offers and fun.
We have a lot of new things planned for 2019, making your James Valley experience better than ever, including free Saturday morning professional consultations, more “take and make” gardening parties and workshops, and our New Roots program. This is a program that allows us to give back to our community by donating and planting one tree in a public Mitchell space for every 50 trees we sell. We are always proud to do our part to help make this a great place to live. Thank you for supporting us, your locally grown garden and landscape experts since 1980!
