Fall Tree Sale!

We’ve said it before and we’ll say it a million more times: trees make our world a better place. In honor of all the great things we love about trees, we encourage you to plant a few this fall. Fall is the best time of year to put a new tree in the ground thanks to cooler outdoor temps and warmer soil.

Starting September 1, you can buy one tree for 10% off and two or more trees for 20% off. Purchase a ten gallon or larger size tree and receive a tree starter kit for $19.99 ($10 savings). You tree purchase will also be counted in our New Roots Program. With every 50 trees purchased from James Valley Garden Center, we’ll plant one free in a local public space!

You’ll find a huge selection of trees behind our Garden Center, ranging from fruit trees to ornamental trees to favorites like maple, birch and oak and of course, evergreen trees in every shape and size. You can take them home and plant with our instructions, or we can deliver and plant them for you for a small fee. Trees make great gifts and are the perfect way to honor a loved one, and we are always happy to arrange this as well.

Once you get those new trees planted, be sure to water thoroughly for the first few weeks while the roots establish themselves. If you’re looking for a great way to perk up your outdoor space, it’s time to branch out with a gorgeous tree (or trees!) from Mitchell’s local best garden center.
